How to Add/Edit Exemptions to Learners

Access to Exemptions will only be visible if you have been given the appropriate access. This access is provided to Super Users ONLY or other Top Users, i.e., the Learning & Development Team


Exemptions are intended for users who are unable to complete a course due to specific circumstances. These individuals have the option to submit evidence supporting their situation, along with a request for an exemption period during which they are not required to take the course.


To start, select Exempt Records from the Navigation Bar. From the drop-down, select Add Record

Select Homes

Select the Home/Entity of which the user/s you wish to make exemption reside

Select Courses

Select the course you wish for the users to be exempt from, i.e. someone who is wheel-chaired bound may be exempt from the Manual Handling course

Then Submit

Next, select Users

Select the user/s you wish to exempt from the selected course

Choose the start date, end date, and reason for the exemption, as well as notes and files to support the reason for the exemption

Then select Save

To View/Edit, select Exempt Records from the Navigation Bar. 

From the drop-down, select Search Records

The table containing the Exempt Records will then appear

From here, you have the option to download the file by clicking on the cloud icon

Additionally, you can edit the record by selecting the pencil and delete the entry by selecting the bin icon
