How To View The Management Area
The Management Area is the quickest way to view compliance for your Organisation, Homes/Branches, User Roles and Users
This Area will only be visible from the events if you have been given the appropriate access. This access would usually be given to Regional Managers, Managers, Admins.
To view this area of the system, you must first click the Management Area found at the top of the events next to the Manager Dashboard.
There are four widgets at the top of this page displaying compliance statistics for any home or branch that you have access to, and they are;
Mandatory | Required | Combined | Personal Development
Mandatory - These are typically the mandatory courses that CQC will be inspecting.
Required - These are additional courses to "Mandatory" that, you as a business, will be measuring the home's compliance.
(Both Mandatory and Required courses are the driving force behind the LMS. They dictate what a Learner sees in their Events. They are managed by you with expiry periods and pass rates for each course).
Combined - This is the combined percentage of Mandatory and Required courses
Personal Development - These are additional courses that learners have decided to run off their own backs. So these courses are neither Required or Mandatory and, therefore, are not automatically scheduled into a user's Events. Personal Development is represented by a number which totals the number of courses ran by learners that do not form part of their Required or Mandatory Compliant subjects.
Below the 4 widgets is the breakdown of any branch or home you have access to. If you are a manager, you will probably only have access to one home. If you are a regional manager or you work at head office then you will see all the homes that you have been given access to.
If you click a home, you will be presented with a breakdown of Roles. The Roles are specific to your organisation and will probably be different to these examples.
You can drill down to the Learners that belong to each Role, by clicking one of the Roles.
On this example we are showing all the Learners that belong to the Role Carer.
(This image shows you the personal compliance statistics for each Learner.)
By clicking the Learner's name you can access their Events. You can learn more about accessing a learner's Events by viewing this Article
